THE PROCESS

What does our mechanical-thermal reduction and pasteurization process for municipal solid waste (MSW) involve?
The ZEWAN machine process involves subjecting MSW to a series of natural processes, including separation, crushing, compacting, and pasteurization, during which, among other factors, the temperature of the mixture is raised to 140°C.

How Does

Our HS/100-S2 Technology Work?

1

Reception of MSW

Waste is loaded into a hopper and placed on a conveyor belt for recyclable materials to be sorted.

2

MSW Dosage

Unopened waste bags are torn open in a trommel to optimize secondary sorting and the following process.

3

Separation

A rotating magnetic belt extracts ferrous metals, and recyclable materials are manually recovered.

4

Shredding

A shredder breaks down the residual waste (from the previous step) into smaller pieces to facilitate the next process.

5

Zewan Core

The shredded waste is treated through a mechanical-physical process that raises the temperature up to 140°C.

6

Automation

The system is automated, so both processing time and temperature for each batch are automatically regulated.

7

Processed Residue

The processed residue is a fibrous, pasteurized, odorless mass with reduced bacteria, safe for subproduct manufacturing.
